Kirstine Elise Pedersen is a renowned Danish cellist with an impressive and diverse musical background. Born in 1984 in Oxford, England, Kirstine grew up in Denmark and discovered her passion for the cello at the age of 7. Her musical education began in 2003 when she was accepted to study at Det Fynske Musikkonservatorium in Odense under Professor Niels Ullner. She completed her Diploma there in 2007 and pursued further studies under Professor Gert von Bülow at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock in Germany.


Kirstine's musical journey continued as she polished her skills in solo performance at the Züricher Hochschule der Künste in Zürich under Professor Martina Schucan. In 2015 she finished a Soloist degree at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhagen, with Trio Gemini.


A versatile musician, Kirstine's repertoire spans both classical, contemporary and folk music. She takes part in various ensembles and has toured most of the world.
She has graced the stage as a soloist with several orchestras, including a recent performance with the Odense Symphony Orchestra.
